From the Heart of New York to Atlanta's Embrace

Shannons passion for design began as a child, dating back to her pre-teen years where she would find herself on a Friday evening after school sketching out the floorplan of her very own bedroom, planning to rearrange her bedroom. This became a weekly to do for her, so much so her family would always come home to a surprise room makeover, that she was always so proud of.

This love for orderliness, and design had its pros and cons at such a young age. Shannon recalls a time where she was invited for a playdate with neighbors, and she found herself straightening up and putting away the toys she and her friends were supposed to be playing with. By the time the playdate was over and her mother came to pick her up, the parents would be shocked by finding their children’s playrooms all neat and tidy, and tell her mother that she was welcome to come back anytime!
